This deceptively simple and versatile cover up can be worn as a wrap cardigan, a shawl, a cowl, a regular scarf and more!
The Eleanor Sweater Scarf by Hannah Cross made in DK weight yarn and the Sweater Scarf with Sleeves by Jennifer Renaud is made in Aran/Worsted weight yarn.
Both patterns can be worn in so many ways depending on how cosy you want to feel. You can choose which pattern you’d like to make.
The beginner students will learn basic crochet stitches including chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet and half double crochet.
After skill building Bernice will help you start the Brooklyn Hat.

Supplies needed:
Beginner students
- US 10.5/5.5mm crochet hook
- 1 skein of Estelle Chunky yarn
Sweater Scarf students
- enough aran weight or DK weight yarn for your size and pattern chosen
- for aran weight pattern, US H/5mm, US I/5.5mm, US K/6.5mm, 7mm crochet hooks OR for DK weight pattern 4.5mm hook
- tapestry needle
