If you haven’t seen Odessa’s version of this bag, you have to take a look - it’s so much fun to make and super practical to use. There are fun tips and tricks in the construction like turning your work at the end of the row so you are only ever knitting but still have the garter stitch effect and the I-cord design detail continues on to become the straps.
You can use Aran weight yarn in one colour or get creative and bust your stash by combing 3-4 fingering weight yarns.

Supplies needed:
- 240-480m of aran weight yarn depending on the size of bag you’d like to make or use a selection of fingering weight yarns to combine and use up some stash.
- US 6/4mm circular (sides of bag) and double point (bottom of bag) needles
