Intro to Handspinning (boot) Camp - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - July

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons with Maureen
July 14 to 16

There may be homework so clear your schedule for a special intensive three-day handspinning boot camp with Maureen at Wolseley Wool. 

Day One - Tues, July 14 - 11am to 3pm - we get to know our wheels and spin our first singles from Canadian roving 

Day Two - Wed, July 15 - 11am to 1pm - we ply those singles to create Canadian yarn 

Day Three - Thurs, July 16 - 11am to 1pm - we card wool from a variety of sources and spin from batts 

Participants may bring their own fully-functional wheels or rent one for a two-week period starting July 14 for $115 payable directly to the instructor. This workshop will be held in the basement at Wolseley Wool so please be prepared to descend century-old stairs.
