Night Lights Shawl Class - Tuesday Evenings - September

Slip your days away with this versatile shawl that’s so much fun to knit! Night Lights is a long triangle shawl which are so popular right now. It features slow increases giving it an elongated triangle shape that’s easy to wrap around like the coziest of scarves.

The shawl features a mosaic stitch pattern that adds playful stripes worked up with 2 different colours of yarn - use a colour shifting or handpainted yarn for even more knitting joy because it’s so much fun to see what colour comes next! Jen will guide you through mosaic stitch work, applied i-cord and different increases and decreases.

Class fee: $70
Supplies needed:

• US 6/4mm needle (or larger if you are using a heavier yarn, for worsted weight we recommend US 8/5mm)
• Approximately 400 yards/365 metres each of 2 different colours of sport to DK wool in contrasting colours - the original shawl was written for a colour shifting yarn with a solid, a few yarns multicoloured yarns we recommend are Cascade 220 Superwash Sport Wave, Berroco Milliefiori Light, Rico Creative Chic Unique Cotton or Cascade 220 Superwash Wave if you’d like to knit a slightly heavier shawl
