This class is for students who have never picked up knitting needles. This beginner class will cover the essentials of knitting including understanding the technical aspects of knit fabric, various yarns and fibres, tools of the trade, how to read a pattern, and more.
What you will learn: casting on, knits, purls, increasing, decreasing, casting off & blocking.
After practicing the basics we will cast on the Oats Cowl by Tin Can Knits
Skill level: Beginner
Class fee: $100 including kit
