During this four week kids’ class, learn to knit or crochet with some great easy beginner projects and then work on bigger projects as your skills grow!
Crochet beginners will crochet a sushi roll. They will learn how to make a foundation chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and how to make colour changes.
Beginner knitters will learn how to cast-on, knit, purl, and cast off while knitting a dish cloth.
Children with experience will move on to other projects chosen with Teri’s guidance.
Skill level: Beginner and Intermediate
Class fee: $45
Supplies needed:
- Beginner Crochet students - 3 colours of Estelle Sudz yarn and a 5 mm crochet hook
- Beginner Knitting students - 1 colour of Estelle Sudz yarn and 5mm knitting needles
- Experienced students will choose supplies based on their project.
