Friday Night Fibre Arts Class - Friday Evenings - January

The Friday Night Fibre Arts Class (formerly the Friday Night Knitting Class) is back and better than ever! 

Your weekend starts here! Every Friday night for four weeks, check your cares at the door and share your passion for knitting, crocheting, or embroidery — and making new friends. The evening starts with a specialty coffee made the way you like it, after-hours shopping and socializing.

Bring your knitting (English-, continental- or Portuguese-style), crochet project or your embroidery work in progress (WIP). Or learn completely new skills, like a second or third method of knitting. You could also try your hand at stranded colourwork using the two-handed or Portuguese methods or intarsia. 

Take on some crochet theory, new stitches or make your first amigurumi. You can also learn the basics of embroidery or bring your embroidery WIP. 

This is a no-holds barred kind of fibre arts class.

Get the help you need with ongoing or new projects with a cup of kindness, a sprinkle of laughter and a side of chocolate. Community and socializing are an important part of fibre arts at Wolseley Wool. This class starts at 7 pm and ends at 9:30 pm (for those who want to knit a little longer than 9 pm).

Skill level: Advanced beginner (basic knit or crochet skills) and no experience required for embroidery
Class fee: $80 (includes a latte, Americano, espresso or cappuccino and chocolate treat each week)
Friendship, laughs and smiles are free.
Supplies needed:
Whatever materials are needed for the project you’re starting or working on.

In this class, you’ll learn everything you want and make some new friends to boot!
