Learn the art of creating posable needlefelted sculptures through the use of armatures and polymer clay detailing. Students will choose a project subject of their own: this is not a make-along as much as it is a significant skill-builder. All supplies included in cost of registration; there may be homework between classes.
Learn basic shapes in armature, blending colours, creating coats, and working with accents in polymer clay where necessary.
Students will create a sculpture of their own choosing. This class will be difficult for a complete beginner: one should have prior experience in needle-felting or in creating soft sculpture in other textiles.
Class size is limited to six to ensure a quality experience for all.
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced felting
Class fee: $200 which includes the $95 kit fee for supplies
