Learn the art of stranded knitting and make the beautiful Fiddlehead Mittens by Adrian Bizillia. This traditional stranded knit mitten pattern is taken to a new level with fun colour combinations.
With the stranded colour work and the additional lining, the mittens are a Manitoba must for the winter to come. Students will learn how to do an i-cord, read colour work chats, and of course all the tips in stranded knitting from our expert, Corie!

Supplies needed:
- 125 yds of sport or DK weight yarn for main colour, 40 yds each of 5 different colours for contrast colours such as Istex Fjallalopi, Lichen and Lace Rustic Heather Sport, WYS Bo Peep Pure DK
- 125 yds of DK or mohair for the lining such as Lichen and Lace Marsh Mohair or Berroco Aerial
- US 3/3.25mm, US 4/3.5mm or US 5/3.75mm double point needles or long circular for magic loop
- stitch marker, waste yarn for thumb, tapestry needle
