There is a reason we use Tin Can Knits patterns for classes and it’s simply that they are just so good and have a wide range of sizes. 

In the second of the skills series with Jen, she will be focussing on ways to add patterning into your project. 

Using the Prism Hat from Tin Can Knits students will learn the basics of knitting in the round along with three options for patterning: stripes, slipped stitches, or fair isle. It’s up to you which one you choose depending on preference, ability and confidence level. 

These hats are so fun, we bet you can’t make just one!

Class fee: $70
Supplies needed: 

• enough DK weight yarn for your size in 3 different colours, such as Estelle Double Knit, Estelle Eco Tweed DK, Estelle Highland Alpaca DK, Rowan Felted Tweed, WYS Bo Peep Pure DK
• US 4/3.5mm and US 6/4mm - 16”/40cm circular needles
• stitch markers and a tapestry needle
