Do you want to get more creative with your embroidered work? Would you like to “paint” with embroidery floss and yarn? Start your modern embroidery adventure with the Creative Journeys Kit “Summer Bouquet” and this eight-hour class!
Learn to express yourself with beautiful floss and yarn. We will also explore folk art and floral motifs, painting fabric with various media and using speckled and variegated yarns to create your own textile art.
Skill level: Beginner
Class fee: $116 (includes “Summer Bouquet” Creative Journeys Embroidery Kit plus other embroidery materials including fabric, yarns and floss)
Supplies needed: The Creative Journeys kit “Summer Bouquet” is included in the class fee. You will also have access to more embroidery floss, speckled and variegated yarn and fabric to paint and then embroider. If you have some odds and ends of speckled or variegated yarns, or favourite colours you’d like to embroider with, please feel free to bring them to class. Watercolour and other media will be provided during the class.
