Wolseley WOol

12 Weeks of Crafting – Featherlite

By now you all know how much I looooove mixing Shibui Silk Cloud into just about any and everything I’m knitting.  It is so super soft and adds just a hint of fluff to any pattern.  Our fall yarns are filling the shelves and I’ve been so excited about knitting with them.  First on my list is the Rowan Valley Tweed which is a sport weight wool in gorgeous tweedy colours.  Add a little Shibui Silk Cloud for some extra softness and you’ve got a winning combination.  As much as we may not want to admit it, cooler weather (I dare not say that W word) is on it’s way and it’s time to start knitting all the warm cuddly things.  I have always loved the Featherlite Hat pattern by Odessa and thought this combo would be a great one to knit with these yarns.  You could also use Rowan Kidsilk Haze which comes in so many great colours instead of the Shibui Silk Cloud.  The pattern is free through Ravelry or pick up a copy from the shop.
