Don’t forget to send us your photos for the July Knitscene KAL by Wednesday, August 1st to be entered into the draw for a kit to knit the Fiddlehead Mittens, our August KAL. You can email them to us (info@wolseleywool.com) or post them in our Ravelry group or on our Facebook wall.We have little kits made up with small balls of 5 different colours for the Fiddlehead Mittens at the shop so come and pick one up! The yarn and pattern for the KAL are 10% off until the end of August. There are so many different yarn choices and ways to knit this. You can use 5 different colours for the colour work, or use a striping yarn like Noro Kureyon or Silk Garden to do all the work for you. The yarn combinations are endless!
Next Saturday, August 4th from 1–4 we are going to have a Fiddlehead getting started class. If you are new to colour work, want to try out Magic Loop or need help with the i-cord cast on, come down to the shop and we’ll help you get started.
