The Emotional Support Chicken by Annette Corsino is taking the knitting world by storm and we’re excited to join in.
These cute chickens are addictive to make and honestly who doesn’t need a chicken to make life a little better.
This techniques and skills you’ll go over in this class include:
- one-piece construction
- toy knitting techniques and shaping
- seaming
- short-rows
- striped colour work
Please note: The directions make a 13” chicken, if you want it bigger switch to chunky weight yarn and a US9/5.5mm needle

Supplies needed:
- 182m of your main colour, 91m of a contrast colour and 10m each for the wattle, crown and beak in a worsted weight yarn such as Cascade Anthem, Berroco Vintage, Berroco Ultra Wool
- US 7/4.5mm circular needles
- tapestry needle
